Living in a digital age certainly has its advantages but it’s nice to know that some businesses believe in good, old-fashioned one-on-one service while still embracing the relevant, ever-changing trends of today.
Glo Advertising isn’t a big corporate agency, nor do we want to be. Our niche is providing premium service to a small client group. For us, it’s all about getting to know our clients and becoming an extension of their business.
We believe boutique is better. Better for our clients because:
Now that we’ve explained who we are and what we stand for, it’s also important to know how we do things. We base our approach on three simple actions; understand, research and implement.
Leanne O’Neill Managing Director
Leanne O’Neill’s professional love affair with media and advertising spans more than 25 years.
It started in the production department of the Mike Walsh Show and endures today with the ownership of Glo Advertising – a boutique agency specialising in personalised client service.
Leanne brings an exceptional level of care and commitment to every campaign. Hard work and dedication, however, are just the beginning. Her considerable creative talents, unwavering focus and in-depth industry knowledge have led to the success of hundreds of projects.
If there’s one thing Leanne has learnt, it’s that there is no such thing as “one size fits all”. Her experience in television publicity departments, on national magazines and as an account executive at fully accredited agencies Chenu & Associates and BGA has led Leanne to believe that advertising success comes from listening and truly partnering with clients to understand their goals. A healthy sense of humour goes a long way too!
In 2006, Leanne launched Glo Advertising to offer clients a boutique yet full-service agency experience with a strong focus on client care.
Despite the energy she pours into her work at Glo, Leanne ensures she has time to invest in the other loves of her life - a TV executive husband and a young daughter who keeps her on her toes! The occasional coffee with friends is always on the agenda and brings “market research” insights.
Dan Ruffino Account Director
If there’s one thing Dan Ruffino excels at, it’s delivering compelling marketing and advertising strategies that capture the consumer’s attention.
Dan’s award-winning career began in book publishing at Pan Macmillan where he started as a junior and moved through sales management in Melbourne to publicity in Sydney where he imaginatively and successfully promoted a host of local and international authors, celebrities, sports stars and politicians. Two years as Consumer Marketing Manager saw Dan looking after the company’s advertising needs, working with agencies on all consumer campaigns.
Next, Dan took his inimitable leadership to Penguin Books joining the board as Marketing Director, overseeing the company’s publicity, marketing, advertising, online and social media strategies. His team won two industry-judged Marketing Campaign of the Year awards, as well as each year’s Hitwise Award for the most visited publishing website. Most recently Dan headed up the group’s global digital sales and marketing strategies, based in New York.
As Account Director at Glo, Dan brings vital experience and insight into the client side of advertising. He knows what clients expect and how to deliver on those expectations.
Away from the office, Dan loves exploring new places to eat out and is a self-declared Richmond Football Club tragic.
